Hello... well today was pretty ok, me and Benno went shopping for christmas pressies, which was hard because he never knows what to buy himself, never mind other people! it was also hard because he wanted to know what I would like and I couldn't think of anything so in general I was useless and just in the way!
well when we were done getting everything we could think of, we drove back to his house to sit quietly for half an hour and snuggle and talk to Lulu, the alexandrian parrot. Then I got home and got ready for the market research thing I was going to, which was supposedly about doing art for the HSC, but in actual fact was not really about that at all.
It was the worst one I've been to pretty much in all ways - difficult questions, (as in unclear as to what she meant) less good food (ordinarily they give you kettle chips and coke but they only had biscuits, water and cheap lollies which wasn't really our age group) plus we were given less money.
But hey, to get any money just to sit and talk to people well, I can deal with that! it was also in Kings Cross and it wasn't in the good bit of it (as in the business people bit. It was in the bit with all the porn/adult shops!) so anyway, It was hard, I thought.
She didn't seem to be able to get the group to understand what she was asking - her questions were really vague. And not only that, but when we gave unhelpful or vague answers, they didn't really ask us to expand. They weren't as young, funky, cool or efficient as any of the others I've been to, but oh well, that isn't their fault!
I still had an ok time, if only because I got money! yay! still, I can't spend it because I have christmas pressies to buy and whatnot. Anyway, after the market research thing i just went home and that was that. I've never travelled on a train at rush hour as I have never needed to. I have to say it was a bit freaky and I got worried in case I missed my stop because I couldn't see the sign for all the people in front of me!
I went to spotlight to see if they had better iron on transfers for my jeans than lincraft did, but they had already closed. And that was my day!
