Today we (my sister, her boyfriend, me and Ben) got the chairlift up to the Eagles Nest, which is the restaurant at the top of the hill from Thredbo Village, before the Kosciusko walk begins, and then walked up the mountain, with 1000 000 flies hitching a ride on our backs and bags...
At the top of the mountain, which is the highest in Australia, we had lunch and took photos of ourselves to prove we'd really been there. Its around 7 km one-way, which isn't that far to walk, i guess, except that its all uphill on the way there.
The way back was much better, being all downhill.
Then Ben and I met my mum and dad who had been on a different walk to us, and we had a plate of chips and a drink.
We relaxed for a while and then went to the Leisure centre to try out their facilities as we had got a pass allowing unliminted chairlift use, one round of golf, one hour of tennis, 6 bobsled rides and unlimited leisure centre access.
We tried out the pool and gym and then went back. On the way we saw some ducklings which were very cute. We had dinner in when we got back, and slept.
